Louis Lunch, a hamburger place on Crown Street, New Haven, claims to be the birthplace of the well known hamburger. The establishment was founded by its namesake Louis Lassen in 1895. The creation of the hamburger was in the 1900 when a gentlemen was in a hurry and stopped at Louis Lunch for a quick meal. Louis rushed to make the gentlemen a grab-and-go meal and placed a blend of ground steak trimmings between two slices of toast. And that was the start of the world known burger.
Nice job Christian. You clearly have an understanding of the three-part caption. Your catchy lead-in is in fact catchy (it grabbed my attention)and your photo/caption relates to your chosen food piece.
ReplyDeleteChristian, attribute facts to their sources. I know it is an exercise in caption writing, but something as simple as "According to the restautant's website..." would suffice.
