Horoscopes & Love is

Horoscopes : We all know what they are . Some of us understand them and some of us don't . Some of us dont believe in them and some us do. Some of us like them and some dont. You can find them online , on the radio , in person , you can even get text messages to your phone. Our group will be posting things about the horoscopes , love is , an ask column , and weather. When we decide tostart the paper people can get there horoscopes daily, each time we do the newspaper there will be a horoscope. Love is... Once again we all have seen the cupole in the newspaper who are naked .. Yes naked . Where there is the little quote love is ... and then it says something about love. They have been out for many many years and they are going to keep it going . We are going to think of the quotes and think of what to  put.

Metro Line Blogspot: Volume One

Dear Staff,

As we have found myhsj.org somewhat challenging to navigate at times and very recently our district filters have begun blocking stored images from view, I am inviting you to share your stories here. Although I have invited all of you to act as authors of this blog, today's assignment asks that you work cooperatively in small groups, no larger than four students.

Each group must assign the following roles: copy writer, copy editor and photo editor. Post your group members and their respective roles no later than 9:20 AM.

The copy editor and optional fourth member are not to remain idle while the copy writer begins pre-writing and drafting your story; they are to assist in the writing of questions, gathering of information and quotes, gathering and creation of images and proper citation of borrowed images.

Once you have posted your members and roles you will have approximately one hour to publish a story draft complete with words and images. It is suggested that you stick to the following timeline as closely as possible as I will be monitoring your progress throughout the period and for which you will receive a grade.

9:20-9:27:       Small group brainstorming session with a focus on the 5 W's and theme.
9:27-9:47:       Pre-writing collecting and image search.
9:47-10:17:     Drafting, put together information and image(s) collected as blog post.
10:17-10:30:   Revise, edit and publish.
10:30-10:39:   Browse other groups published post. Post at least one comment in which you both make an observational statement and pose a question in hopes of perpuating the conversation.

I look forward to seeing your story drafts and assisting you along the way.

Mr. Monahan
