Inmate 10232018--

Prison Reform is the attempt to improve conditions inside prisons, establish a more effective penal system or implement alternatives to incarcerations. Do you know how many men and women are currently incarcerated in the United States? If not let me be the first to share that currently there are over 600,000 men and women who are released yearly from federal prisons. Where do these men and women go, how can they find jobs, what programs are instated to ensure they can make a living after prison? The answer to that is very minute and extremely unfortunate that reformed prisoners aren't giving the same equal opportunities despite acts that are set in stone for previous prisoners and unfair would be the most egregious understatement. I say that to say, we need a justice system that ensures the equal rights, and demands the equal rights of these reformed citizens. Individuals who have been incarcerated face many social and practical barriers. They're globally frowned upon, and have an unfortunate stigma associated with who they are, v. who they were.

I took it upon myself to reach out to what he refers himself to as an "Ex-Con" he wears his label proudly because he feels his life as an intimate is only a smidgen of who he was v. who he will become. He stressed to me the importance of understanding we're all humans, and we all make mistakes. There's reform after punishment it's just a very difficult challenge of getting grated it. He wants other convicts to know that upon release you will feel low, you will feel discouraged, and most importantly, you will feel left out. He expressed to me how he had to work twice as hard to get half of what an citizen who wasn't incarcerated has. His reform came from family push, and support that was unconditional. "Change is inevitable, you can treat your past like water under a bridge because what is good for the goose, is great for the gander". This man now owns a club, several houses, and car dealerships in his state. "The goal never changes just the road to get there, and that's how I kept my faith" He was incarcerated when he was only 17 years old, and released when he was 27. As one would imagine that's a significant difference and there's entire different life given to an innocent 17 year old in America v. an 27 year old ex-con.
What do you see when you look on application and a potential qualified employer has an past? Do you judge, if so why? Most Americans would agree that the conclusions is, there are somethings in our justice system that must change in order to achieve a reform system that not only protects but also enhances the respect for human dignity. What needs to be at the top of  prison reform list is creating an constructive culture, reducing the number of rearrest and providing programs whether it be educational, social, or political could and should make a significant difference in the livelihood of released prisoners. I think we're running out of time faith wise, we're stripping these previously convicted women and men of a fair life. If they have in fact done the crime yet also done the time that should be equally notable and respected for we have no idea what it's really like; Youth are growing up in an unstable time where rebelling and crime for fun is all they have to run to, something as simple as providing a platform that demonstrates to both young women and men they still have a chance is pivotal for the face of an greater America.

French Fries
French fries are known as many different names such as batons, French-Fried potatoes, deep fried potatoes, and many more. North Americans refer to any elongated pieces of fried potatoes as fries. While in the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand, Long thinly cut slices of fried potatoes are often called fries to distinguish them from the more thickly cut strips called chips. French fries are often known as frites, patates frites or pommes frites in French, which is also used in many Non- French-Speaking areas.
French Fries were first made by cutting new potatoes into thin slices, put them in boiling fat, and a little salt; both sides fried until a light golden brown color. “French Fried” was also being used in the sense of “Deep- Fried”, for other foods such as onion rings or chicken. Fries can also be made inside an oven.
These best fries that I know of are at a fast food place called duchess and one out in California that I been to called Jack In The Box. I never really had fries that I didn’t like since it’s one of my favorite foods to include with most dishes, but where ever I go and try them I always find some that taste better than others. The thicker the fry the more flavor they have most of the time depending how they are fried or cooked, and depending on the amount of salt. Me and a others all over probably agree too much salt is no good flavor and health wise!
In the United Kingdom the “French Fries” we refer to, are called “chips”. There they cut much thicker and are “chipped” from the potatoes. This is a popular dish in British Islands and is often included in a dish served known as “Fish n Chips”. “Chips” are occasionally made from unpeeled potatoes to enhance their flavor and nutritional value and aren’t served as crisp as other places due to their relatively high water content.

LPI: THE GREEN

Since the New Haven Green Historic District, it was designated a National Historic Landmark District on December 30, 1970.
There’s a crypt at the center church in the Green.
When  the Green was first known as the Green, it held a watch house, a prison and a school.
And the Puritans were said to have designed the green large enough to hold the number of people who they believed would be spared in the “Second Coming of Christ”.
In the Green there is to be a mythical legend about a Bennett Memorial Fountain, the fountain has fresh water coming out of two lions heads from opposite sides. It is said if you drink from the fountain you would never leave New Haven. Not sure who came up with that; that’s why it’s a myth.

Chicken Parm

Chicken Parm was originated in Italy dish that includes chicken, cheese, and tomato sauce baked together. The word chicken parmesan means from Parm which is a city in northern Italy. I think that this dish is very good actually it is my favorite dish in the whole world the reasons why I like this dish is because of the chicken and the rich sauce and cheesy blend. Some actually say the dish is known for the mozzarella cheese. My mom makes this for me for my birthdays and I love when she makes; it sometimes she makes it with breaded chicken.

Some people also like Chicken Parm on a sub roll as a sandwich, I prefer it to be eaten the classic way only on a plate nice and hot and yummy because its too perfect when its by itslef without bread is the way i like it. the restuarnt to go to for the famous Italian dish is 99 a resturant located in Wallingford ,CT or Middletown ,CT they have their own style of making it. 99's Chicken parm Italian  dish has a wounderful garlic taste . its served with a thick chicken breast breaded with rich sauce and lots of cheese mozzarella of course but on the side they add pasta and toasted garlic bread which is so amazing most of the time I have left overs to bring home to eat the next day.
