2011 Year in Rap: Brainstorm Top Stories (9:05-9:25); although, you have tenative lists, you will need to conduct research in order to find key people, places and terms to include in your rap. You will also provide opinion/rationale as to why you made your specific selections.

2011 Year in Rap: How to Create Your Rap (9:30-9:45); here we transition from pre-writing/collecting to drafting. Although the handout only provides space for one story, you will want to repeat the process for each, approximately four in total. If you run out of time, complete draft of rap for homework and bring to class on Tuesday.
