Death Penalty

I am totally against the death penalty because to me there's no point. To me it does not make any sense at all to spend money to have people sentenced to death when they could just spend life in prison, no case is that serious even if the person killed someone they shouldn't be killed. They should just be sentenced to life in prison. It's not our place or anyone's to judge whether someone dies or not.

  3. When looking at the life in jail sentence in a economical stand point it makes more sense to electricute someone because it takes more money to keep someone in jail. Since you have to pay for food, clothes, water, electricity, gaurds, furnitutre etc. With the economony the way it is now and the budget cuts, the government has no choice but to electricute someone when they have been in jail so much time. My opinion is that I would rather have someone be in jail for the rest of their life then be given the death penalty but i understand their stand point.

  5. I agree with you, in that we have no right to judge on whether or not a person may live or die, because we are all sinners and have all done wrong. but I also believe that in life, there are a few necessary evils that we must commit. things that must be done to better society and prevent catastrophe. for if a lion is caged with other lions, then it will spend day after day growing in hatred until the day in which it attacks.

  6. I agree with the absurdity to waste time and money to sentence someone to death although, I do believe that it depends on the situation. If the person committed a horrific crime and killed/injured multiple people then they should suffer as well.
