In Anticipation of Errol Morris's Docmentary Film "Mr. Death"

When considering the title of Errol Morris's 1999 documentary film and looking back over recent content posted to the Metro Line, what do you think this film is about? Additionally, the filmmaker gave it a subtitle The Rise and Fall of Fred A. Leuchter Jr., who might Fred Leuchter be, and what is implied by his "Rise and Fall"?

  1. I believe this film is about an electric chair. Or someone getting killed by an electric chair.

  4. I think the film is about the person who activated the electric chair when people were issued the death penalty. Fred Leucher Jr. may have been a regular person who commited a crime and was issued the death penalty. His rise could have been being a regular person and his fall could have been when he was issued the death penalty. Also he may have even been the person who more or less invented the electric chair.
