Learning Experience

One of my most memorable learning experiences was becoming independent. This was positive in my life because everyone needs independence to succeed in the world. I started to become independent at a young age and as I grew the more independent I became. I started to wake up in the morning on my own for school, cook my own meals, and find my own transportation. Being independent is important, but it doesn’t all just happen at once. It starts out as something small and grows into something big as time goes on. Learning to be independent wasn’t that hard for me because I always wanted things done fast for myself. You can’t depend on someone if you want something done speedily; you have to do it yourself. Without self preservation you can’t be independent, you need that push from yourself to be able to depend on yourself. Independence was the best self taught attribute for me. It has made me into who I am and opened many doors for me to use in my future. It has allowed me to make my own working network of people and make connections with companies and respected people in communities.
