Sb's learning experience

The most memorable learning experience I had was as a child and it was negative and partially positive, in the other words there was a good and bad to my situation. It was a hot summer day, my friends and I had nothing to do so we thought it would be the perfect day to ride bikes, bmx, and race. My friend Chandler had just got a new ramp and it was sweet. he put the ramp on the sidewalk so all my friend and I can go off it. He specifically told me not to not to go off it with my bike because it was a mountain bike and to go off with his. I didn't care what he said because I was young and hated when kids other than adults told me what to do not realizing he wasn't telling me what to do but he was just being a good friend and looking out for my safety. I rebelled against what he said and did it anyway but, I didn't just not listen I went off the ramp going full speed instead of taking it slow. I flew in the air, fell to the ground and the bike immediatley fell on my face. The impact of the fall and the bikes weight left me with a mark on the back of my head. I was lucky to be o.k. because I could have severely injured myself or worse. I learned to stop being ignorant and just take the time to listen to what people say. It's good to listen becaue sometimes people aren't being mean, or telling you what to do but they are trying to help you. I also learned to stop being a know-it-all because I don't know everything especially things I never done before. Lastly the #1 rule when you decide to ride bikes or do tricks on them ALWAYS WEAR HELMETS!!!
